We’ve completed a sympathetic renovation to make a pub that feels like home; whether you’re here once a year or every week. We’re all about proper hospitality. There’s something a bit magical about Hawkshead. Cobbled streets, whitewashed cottages, and a backdrop of rolling fells, it’s the kind of place that feels like a storybook. Wander through the village and you’ll stumble across a variety of independent shops, inviting tearooms, and the Beatrix Potter Gallery, all just a stone’s throw from our front door. Step a little further and the Lake District opens up around you, lush woodland walks, peaceful waterside trails, and scenic climbs for those who fancy a view with their flask of tea.
